About Cornerstone Apostolic Church
How We Worship
Sing with all your heart because:
Psalms 95:1 - 2 reads ,"O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. 2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."
Lift your hands and praise God aloud because:
Psalms 134:2 reads, Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord." Psalms 100: 4 reads, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. "
Pray together because:
Acts 4: 24 reads, "they lifted up their voice to God with one accord." Acts 12: 12 reads, "where many were gathered together praying."
Clap your hands to the Lord because:
Psalms 47:1 reads, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph."
Anoint with oil and pray for the sick because:
James 5:14 reads, "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."
What We Believe
What we believe regarding Salvation:

-
Salvation consists of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The New Testament experience of Salvation consists of:
-
Repentance from sin,
-
Water baptism in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
-
The baptism of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christian is to live a godly life. (Acts 2:36-41)
-

-
We believe in repentance of our sins for the forgiveness of sin. Through repentance we identify with the death of Jesus Christ. "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3)

-
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the burial of Jesus Christ. "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." (John 3:5)

-
We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit) which is evidenced with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues. Through the infilling of the Holy Spirit we identify with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14)
